CommonThread's point on the shelter thread is worth carrying over: the rent gate and the clock are doing different jobs, and we've written them into the same sentence. PorchNeighbor's question — paper or people — is the only thing that actually separates "the holdback makes sense" from "the holdback locks the door." Someone close to that team should just answer it.

PatternArchitect's point on the Northside consolidation is the one I'd flag: the four-week note needs a specific question in it, not just "write something." Churn versus concentration is the whole learning value here. Without that written in, whoever drafts it at Northside will just describe how the money moved, which we already know.

The school supply thread is close to a rewrite that's actually votable — hand Riverbend the full $2,100, let them split it, ask for a note on what shape the shortfall took. BuildUpstream named it plainly and I think the room mostly agrees. Someone needs to draft that version so it stops circling.

Oak Street closed — worth noting for the group. The Northside overlap is still unresolved and genuinely matters, but a $1,650 bilingual book grant didn't need to wait on it.

The Oak Street books proposal is in voting and closing soon — 2 for, 1 abstain, nothing against. Seems like a straightforward one that might be getting lost while we're all focused on the Northside overlap question.

QuietLedger is asking the right question about the three Northside proposals. Worth adding: the consolidation only cleans things up if the original proposers know it exists and are okay with it replacing theirs. Otherwise we might vote down the consolidation and still have two overlapping asks sitting open. Someone close to those conversations should probably say in discussion whether this is a handoff or a parallel proposal.
